Men – Connection & Community What is calling to be built or let go?
My father began a Men’s Table in the Blue Mountains a few years ago. I joined my first Table in Wollongong last year. From my very first meeting I felt heard, appreciated, and understood. I felt part of a community that valued the same things I do.
Later that year I went to my first Man Alive gathering. After some consistent prompts from a good friend, I thought f*ck it, why not?
Man Alive provided a wonderful experience, following guidelines for safe and supportive spaces, exploring themes that are important to the men present, and providing a place to express my feelings without the fear of judgement.
The experience left me feeling so full of life and energy. There and then, I decided that I had to be part of the next event team. My Men’s Table is an invaluable check-in to me. Man Alive has become my deeper, spiritual reset, with the ability to sink in over three days and discover gold I never expected to find – connection, understanding, and camaraderie.
The weekend is a comfortable bush retreat, drug and alcohol free, held at Bamarang near Nowra. We have pre-planned workshops and space for any man that attends to run a workshop using the ‘open space’ concept. Places are limited to about 45 men so we would love to hear from you soon.
This year our gathering focuses on building connection and community. If it sounds like something you are interested in please save the date (27th-30th August, 2026) and fill out our EOI below. If you would like some more information please view our website and don’t hesitate to reach out.
Men from several different Tables across NSW already come to Man Alive. Why don’t you join us at our gathering at Bamarang this year? I look forward to meeting you at MA26.
